The nose is aromatic and offers elegance, richness as well as a small gourmandize side. It reveals notes of ripe cassis and small notes of ripe raspberry combined with touches of blackberries, Zan, Cuben pepper as well as subtle hints of dried flowers (violet, lily), spices and a very discreet hint of mocha. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a good minerality (mineral frame), a slight suavity, dynamism, a slight straightness, a very slight tension as well as a good finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes fleshy / ripe blackberry, very ripe strawberry and small notes of ripe raspberry associated with touches of juicy cassis, licorice / Zan, sweet spices as well as very discreet hints of cardamom. Tannins are fine and slightly mellow. Slight chew on the finish.
