Ruby colour. Spicy nose of pepper, strawberries and raspberries. Dense on the palate, with a freshness of fruit that adds dynamism to the whole structure. The mid-palate is spicy and fruity, with a hint of liquorice. The tannins are assertive on the finish and will take one or two years to soften. This is a wine that quickly reveals its fruity, spicy character before gradually increasing in intensity.
