Domaine Bourgogne-Devaux – Le Clou 2018 – Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune

The nose is fruity, well-built and offers a fine power as well as a certain gourmandize. It reveals notes of bright cherry, blackberry and small notes of strawberry associated with small touches of pulpy / juicy plum, violet, rose as well as fine hints of nutmeg and a very fine hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, well-well-balanced and offers a juicy / acidulous frame, a good definition, gourmandize, tension as well as a beautiful quality of the fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy cherry, cornflowers and small notes of pulpy / juicy cassis associated with a touch of pulpy / juicy strawberry as well as hints of acidulous / juicy purple plum, fresh lily, nutmeg and fine toasted hints / vanilla on the finish / persistence. Tannins are well-built.
