The wine has a pale ruby colour. The nose offers juiciness and ripe fruity aromas. It expresses notes of fresh red and black fruits (Bigarreau cherry, strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, blackcurrant), with a subtle touch of smoked meat, dried mint, liquorice and an elegant floral bouquet (blueberry, lily). On the palate, the wine offers roundness and tension. It expresses notes of ripe red and black fruits (red cherry, raspberry, Morello cherry, blueberry, wild strawberry, red currant), a smoky, peppery touch and aromatic floral and herbal notes (cornflower, peony, thyme). The tannins are fine-grained and give the wine an elegant structure. The finish is juicy, fruity and pleasant, with a refreshing acidity and positive bitterness.
