Domaine Bourgogne-Devaux, La Dalignère 2022 – Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune

The wine has a pale brilliant ruby color. The nose is aromatic, gourmand and offers notes of ripe fruit and beautiful juiciness. It expresses the aromas of ripe morello cherry, red cherry (even with a touch of red cherry jam), crushed raspberry, wild blueberry, red plum (with a delicate hint of roasted plum) and red currant jelly, combined with a floral bouquet (fresh rose, lilac) and a subtle touch of sweet spices (ground cumin, liquorice) and notes of toast in the background. The palate is juicy, supple and fruity, with fine and enveloped tannins, a delicate bitterness (reminiscent of those of black tea) and a crunchy acidity. It expresses the flavors of ripe strawberry, juicy morello cherry, red cherry (with a hint of cherry jam), fresh red plum, crushed raspberry and blueberry, combined with notes of rose petals and lilac, with a herbaceous touch in the background (blackcurrant bud), as well as a fine toasted and spicy hint (liquorice, a touch of ground cumin). The finish offers juiciness, airiness as well as refreshing acidity and good persistence. The tannins are structured, but supple.
