The wine has a bright pale ruby color. The nose is refined and expresses delicate spicy notes at the beginning (liquorice, white pepper, nutmeg), associated with touches of dried mint, sap and pine needles in the background. Then, we find the tangy fruity aromas (tart red cherry, cranberries, wild raspberry, crunchy strawberry), as well as a hint of violet and rose petals. The palate offers liveliness, juiciness and a salivating tangy frame in the flavors of red cherry, raspberry, cranberries and red currants. It also expresses floral notes of rose petals and liquorice, a fine spiciness (liquorice, nutmeg), herbaceous (dried mint) and toasted touches. The finish is sapid, quite persistent, fruity and slightly toasted. Tannins are firm, fine and not drying.
