The nose is fruity, elegant and offers well-mastered power, a small exuberant side and a certain deepness/intensity. It reveals notes of bright cherry, boysenberry and small notes of violet associated with touches of blueberry, crushed small red fruits as well as hints of toasted oak, caramelization, a subtle hint of gray pepper, blond tobacco and chocolate/toasted. The mouth is fruity and offers juiciness, a mineral frame, a small creaminess, gourmandize, tension, freshness and a racy minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of creamy blackberry, pulpy cassis and small notes of violet associated with touches of Quetsche plum, pulpy small red fruits as well as hints of caramelization, sweet blond tobacco, chocolate as well as with fine hints of cardamom and bourbon vanilla. Tannins are precise, racy, elegant. A small creaminess and gourmandize on the finish.
