The nose is fruity and offers power, a certain intensity, a fine grain as well as a beautiful definition and a certain/small complexity. This wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of juicy blackberry, quetsche plum and small notes of strawberry associated with touches of violet, lilac as well as hints of chocolate, rose, racy minerality, a hint of cardamom, tea and toasted. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, minerality, gourmandize, a certain tension, a certain richness, roundness as well as a fine unctuosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, juicy/pulpy raspberry and small notes of Quetsche plum associated with touches of red berries as well as slight hints of bergamot, zan, tonka bean/cardamom. Good length. Tannins are precise, structuring.
