The nose is fruity and offers a certain controlled/juicy power, a certain richness, complexity, a fine grain, a very discreetly tight grain. It reveals notes of boysenberry, bright raspberry and small notes of juicy purple plum associated with touches of liquorice, lilac, discreet hints of racy minerality and a subtle hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-built and offers freshness, gourmandize, an acidulous frame, a small straightness as well as a beautiful and bright/gourmand fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright/pulpy cherry, raspberry and small notes of redcurrant associated with touches of juicy cassis, lilac, lily as well as fine hints of tonka bean, a discreet hint of racy minerality, tea and an imperceptible hint of Madagascar pepper. Tannins are precise and well-built. Good length.
