Domaine Bisconte – Macabeu, Cuvée des Cabanes 2023 – IGP Côtes Catalanes

(granite sands) Beautiful racy nose which offers deepness, precision as well as concentration/aerial power. It reveals notes of quince, almost fresh tannins and small fresh yellow fruits associated with fine hints of almost floral/fresh sap and anise. The palate is nicely gourmand, precise and offers width, a tangy structure as well as a certain mellowness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of quince, mellow pear and small notes fleshy/juicy peach associated with touches of small pulpy yellow fruits, a sappy hint as well as a subtle hint of pine needles (in the background), anise and an imperceptible hint of beeswax.
