The wine has a deep ruby color with purple hints. The wine expresses concentrated and ripe aromas of Morello cherry, blackcurrant, crème de cassis, black plum, red currant jam, raspberry coulis and red cherry. There are also menthol, herbaceous (fresh thyme, fresh mint, licorice, clove), floral (peony, violet) and chocolate (chocolate with mint, dark chocolate) notes. On the palate, the wine shows a lot of energy: a firm, yet refined tannic structure, crisp acidity and fresh flavors of tart red cherry, black cherry, black plum, cassis, with herbaceous and spicy notes of bud blackcurrant, fresh tobacco, liquorice and clove. Beautiful concentration and freshness combined with a strong, yet elegant structure. A wine to keep, but it is very pleasant already in its youth.
