The nose is nicely built, aromatic and offers complexity, a floral side as well as spices. There are notes of violet, nutmeg and small notes of wild black berries associated with touches of crushed blueberry as well as a hint of roasted strawberry, green pepper and a subtle almost olive hint. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, suavity, a nice freshness, brightness, minerality as well as a crystalline side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry and creamy black berries associated with touches of crushed raspberry, hints of pulpy cherry, cornflowers, liquorice stick as well as fine hints of salt, black olive and toast. Good length. Nice brightness on quite ripe red fruits. Tannins are sapid and mellow.
