(Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% of stalk) The wine has a deep ruby color. The nose offers accuracy, straightness and concentration. It expresses notes of morello cherry, ripe blackcurrant, black plum, wild strawberry and tart red cherry, combined with herbal touches of blackcurrant bud, dried mint, Earl Grey tea (with bergamot), liquorice, cardamom, grated nutmeg, as well as fresh hazelnut, a hint of toasted almond and dried bouquet garni, combined with a touch of violet and dried cornflower. The palate is juicy, textured, enveloping and elegant. It expresses the flavors of morello cherry, sour red cherry, blackcurrant, wild strawberry and crushed raspberry, complemented by a fine herbaceous hint (dried aromatic herbs, dried blackcurrant leaf, Earl Grey tea), by a fine bitterness of bird cherry, a toasted touch of hazelnut and coffee in the background, as well as violet and chocolate cherry. The finish is gourmand, sapid and tangy, with a good bitterness and a refreshing acidity. Tannins are fine, solid, slightly grippy, without being dry. Lots of delicacy and sapidity on the persistence. Good length, a certain power and precision in the flavors.
