Nice racy nose that offers some restraint and a nice grain. The wine needs aeration in the glass or decanter. There are lovely notes of candied mirabelle plum, crunchy yellow fruits and more slightly quince combined with hints of white flowers, crisp apple and hints of beeswax/pastry. The palate is mineral, fruity and offers nice definition, roundness, fullness and a nice freshness that carries on. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy yellow peach, crushed yellow fruits and more slightly nectarine combined with a touch of roasted pineapple, honey/beeswax as well as a subtle almost buttery edge, a discreet hint of spice, fresh sap and “flor”.
