The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is fragrant and gourmand. It expresses notes of fleshy red and black fruits (wild strawberry, bigarreau cherry, morello cherry, wild blackberry, red currant), associated with herbaceous touches (wild mint, rosemary), spicy (liquorice stick, a hint of vanilla, cumin), floral (peony, lily), as well as a hint of balsamic. On the palate, the wine first expresses savory (roasted meat, smoke) and spicy (licorice, white pepper, nutmeg) notes, associated with notes of red and black fruits (roasted red cherry, red currant, strawberry, morello cherry), as well as flowers (dried peony, cornflower). The finish is tasty, quite persistent. The body of the wine is delicate, rather light and goes well with the salivating acidity. An aromatic wine, with finesse.
