The nose is elegant, fruity and offers freshness, a fine intensity as well as a good maturity. It reveals notes of boysenberry and cooked cassis combined with touches of ripe wild strawberry, minty liquorice, racy minerality as well as a very discreet hint of black cherry, garrigue and salty minerality. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a fine mineral frame, straightness, a fine tension, a small fat, a beautiful freshness, a beautiful grain as well as a beautiful juicy and ripe fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe cassis, blueberry and Bigarreau cherry associated with touches of olive, menthol licorice as well as a touch of tonka bean and hints of garrigue. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
