The nose is gourmand, slightly powerful and offers a slight concentration. It reveals notes of cassis and fine notes of redcurrant associated with slight touches of wild fruits, discreet hints of spices as well as a subtle hint of flowers. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a nice mineral frame, gourmandise, finesse as well as a slight acidity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, cherry and slight notes of strawberry cream combined with hints of toasted oak / vanilla as well as a very discreet hint of caramelization and licorice. Tannins are well-built. Good length. There is a very discreet touch of dark chocolate on the persistence.
