The nose is aromatic, elegant and slightly concentrated. It reveals notes of crushed boysenberry, cassis and slight hints of plum associated with woody touches, chocolate as well as a discreet hint of truffle. The palate is fruty, suave, well-balanced, silky, well-built, elegant and offers a good definition, gourmandise as well as a slight freshness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, crushed Quetsche plum and slight notes of blueberry associated with a discreet hint of cornflower as well as hints of toasted oak and chocolate. Tannins are fine and very slightly firm. Good length. There is a very slight and discreet hint of mushroom/undergrowth on the finish.
