Domaine Alain Gras 2022 – Saint-Romain

The wine has a bright ruby color of medium intensity. The nose expresses a juicy and pure fruitiness, slightly tangy. We find notes of bigarreau cherry, raspberry, wild strawberry, red currant jelly, as well as a touch of lilac and blackcurrant leaf and mint in the background. The palate is airy, fluid (in a good sens), tangy and fresh. It expresses fruit notes (cranberries, red cherry, crunchy strawberry, raspberry, fresh red currant), associated with herbaceous touches (blackcurrant leaf, mint) and a floral touch (lilac, dried rose in the background). The acidity is lively and salivating, the finish is rather persistent, chiseled, on the tangy fruits.
