Dom Brial – Grande Réserve 1999 – Rivesaltes

Dom Brial – Grande Réserve 1999 – Rivesaltes

(2015 bottling) The nose is aromatic and offers brilliance, an almost textured side as well as a relatively fine grain. It reveals notes of dried apricot, dried mirabelle plum and small notes of Zante currant associated with fine hints of dried pineapple, rosewood as well as discreet hints of verbena and pâtisseries. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity, well-balanced and offers minerality as well as a tangy frame. Vibrance of the tangy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of dried apricot, crystallized orange and small notes of crystallized mango associated with touches of blond tobacco, almond as well as a hint of pâtisseries and a very discreet hint of raisin on the finish. Brilliance and freshness. Beautiful tangy/gourmet persistence.
