The wine shows a bright, vivid golden colour. The nose is rich and honeyed, with notes of quince, honeysuckle, fresh and raisined grapes, dried apricots and candied mango. The palate is very elegant and ethereal, despite the level of sweetness, with crisp, piercing acidity and delicate notes of ginger and orange peel. The lingering finish shows a light smokiness and bitterness, adding to the overall freshness and finesse.
