The nose is aromatic, fine, quite elegant and relatively powerful. It reveals notes of cider, yellow apple/cooked apple and slight hints of crystallized lemon (in the background) associated with xoody hints, spices as well as an imperceptible hint of orange zests (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly unctuous, precise, straight and offers a slight juiciness as well as a slight gourmandise. In the mouth this Calvados expresses notes of cider and confit orange associated with a hint of mandarin zests, caramel/rancio as well as a subtle hint of compoted pear/white fruits (in the background) and a very discreet hint of cedar wood. There are slight hints of caramel as well as an imperceptible hint of apple seed on the persistence.
