Distillerie Garnier – 12 ans – Très Vieux Calvados 

The nose is fruity, aromatic, quite elegant, powerful and offers finesse. It reveals notes of hot apple, oak / toasted and small notes of cider associated with a slight hint of crystallized lemon (in the background) as well as a very discreet hint of gray pepper (in the background) and an imperceptible hint of orange zest (in the background). The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, slightly unctuous, precise, straight and offers a small juiciness, a good definition as well as a good structure. In the mouth this Calvados express notes of apple, hot peach and small notes of cider, candied orange associated with a subtle hint of pear compote, caramel and zest / spices. Good, gourmande and suave persistence. There are a hint of vanilla and almond on the persistence / aftertaste.
