The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is savory, with gourmand notes of sweet fruits. It expresses aromas of morello cherry, ripe red cherry, crunchy strawberry and crushed raspberry, combined with a hint of black plum, liquorice, crushed cardamom, white pepper, as well as crushed mint leaf, fresh peony and rose petals. After aeration, there are also tangy touches of cocoa nibs and a delicate mineral hint of tar. The palate is open, juicy, but with a solid and fine tannin structure. It expresses a fresh, tangy fruity frame (bigarreau cherry, cranberries, raspberry, crunchy strawberry), associated with notes of sweet spices (liquorice, white pepper in the background, crushed cardamom), peppermint, an airy floral bouquet (rose, peony in the background), as well as a racy minerality (limestone, tar in the background) which appears on the persistence. The finish is long, gourmet, with fruity, mineral and limestone notes, with a tangy frame of fresh fruits and a beautiful salivating acidity.
