Di Prisco – 2024, Irpinia Coda Volpe

(Mise : mi-Avril) The nose is fruity and offers a certain intensity, precision, accuracy, good definition, a little concentration of fruit and a precise grain. It reveals notes of quince, pulpy/juicy yellow peach and small notes of ripe mandarin, associated with fine, almost iodized hints. The palate is fruity, juicy, mineral and offers good definition, minerality and a clean, tangy and precise frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh quince and small notes of juicy/fresh mirabelle plum and citron, combined with fine hints of fresh pineapple, as well as a hint of crushed white fruit and gunflint. Good length. Lovely texture and aromatic depth. A mineral, juicy wine with a certain mineral purity. A hint of toasted almond on the finish/persistence and subtle chewiness.
