The nose reveals a subtle blend of sweet spices, fresh fruit and a discreet hint of varietal. There are notes of crunchy peach, mesocarp and, more lightly, honeysuckle, combined with hints of fresh pink lychee and a subtle hint of lemon and gunflint. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, minerality, a chiselled edge, a tangy texture, good definition, tension, finesse and straightness. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/fresh lemon, zest and slightly mesocarp notes combined with juicy/fresh peach as well as fine white berry, lemon blossom, a subtle hint of gunflint and a very discreet hint of salinity. Crisp and energetic on the finish. Nice work on the bitter taste.
