Deurić – Probus 276, 2020

The nose is fruity and reveals some power/concentration and spice. There are notes of crushed blackcurrant, bright blueberry and more lightly blueberry combined with hints of black pepper, bergamot, fine tips of lily as well as a subtle hint of sense of place (local biotop), a discreet hint of nutmeg and an imperceptible hint of clove. The palate is fresh, balanced and offers juiciness, freshness, energy, minerality, straightness, fine creaminess, acidity/juiciness and sweetness. On the palate this wine expresses creamy blueberry, bright blackcurrant and slightly wild strawberry notes with hints of blueberry, light tobacco, cardamom and a subtle hint of salinity and toasted/grilled almond. Good length. Lovely persistence with a hint of smoke, roast and bright black fruit.
