Denis Jamain – Les Chênes de mon grand-père 2016 – Reuilly

The nose is fruity, relatively aromatic and offers a slight gourmandise. It reveals notes of crushed white fruits, mandarine / citrus and slight notes of peach associated with slight touches of apple, a touch of vanilla as well as a hint of flowers and minerality. The palate is fruity and offers a slight acid frame, fat, precision, a slight juiciness as well as a racy minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of lemon, sweet mandarine / grapefruit and a note of passion fruits / lychee combined with touches of crushed vine peach as well as a very discreet hint of flowers and vanilla. Good length.
