Delord – 20 ans d’âge – Bas-Armagnac

The nose is fruity and offers elegance, power, a fine intensity as well as a fine and a slightly tight grain. It reveals notes of dried peach, caramel apple and small notes of dried lemon zest associated with fine touches of caramelized small fruits, lychee as well as hints of rancio, rosewood, cedar and a discreet hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine acidulous frame, elegance, gourmandize, finesse as well as a small roundness. On the palate, this Armagnac expresses notes of crystallized lemon, dried peach and small notes of caramelized apple associated with small touches of Zante currant, dried zest, tobacco as well as fine hints of cedar, pepper, nutmeg and a very discreet hint of dried almond on the finish / persistence.
