Delaforce 2017 – Vintage Port

The nose is fruity and offers a fine minerality. It reveals notes of crushed cassis, crushed blackberry and small notes of wild berries associated with fine touches of crushed strawberry, grey pepper as well as hints of liquorice and an imperceptible hint of graphite. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a mineral/finely acidulous frame, a good definition, tension as well as minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed/fleshy cassis, black cherry and small notes of raspberry associated with fine touches de chocolate, liquorice as well as a subtle hint of graphite and caramel. Good length.
