The nose is aromatic and powerful. It reveals notes of flowers (violet, lily, a hint of lavender) and touches of blackberry, small black berries combined with notes of minerality, spice, pepper, liquorice and a hint of tobacco. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers freshness, a nice mineral frame, tension, juiciness, fat and suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry cream, juicy cassis and touches of fig, red fruit (raspberry, cherry) associated with slight notes of raspberry jam, toasted oak, coffee and a grilled hint. Tannins are fine and slightly dry. Good length.
