The wine has an intense and dark black cherry color. The nose is fresh and fruity with a small reduction. There are notes of small, crunchy red fruits. The second nose opens with more fruit such as blackcurrant and eucalyptus freshness. The palate is fresh with a nice acidity from the attack. There are notes of black fruits like cherry and blackberry. But also blackcurrant and small blueberry. The tannins are present, intense. The mid-palate is tangy with a certain salivation which continues in the finish. It is a wine with structure and at the same time with tangy fruity aromas. We also have hints of pepper and some peony-type floral notes. The finish is tannic with fresh notes of small, crunchy black fruits.
