The nose is fruity and offers finesse, a very slight freshness as well as concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, redcurrants and small notes of flowers associated with touches of spices (pepper, cinnamon and nutmeg), morello cherry as well as a very discreet touch of menthol. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a slight acid frame, a small minerality, suavity, gourmandise, a beautiful finesse / delicacy as well as a good freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, small ripe berries and small touches of raspberry, crushed redcurrants, black cherry associated with slight touches of cocoa / dark chocolate as well as discreet hints of nutmeg and vanilla. Tannins are fine and a bit firm. Good length and good persistence.
