The nose is fruity, aromatic and a bit powerful. It reveals notes of ripe raspberries, cassis and small notes of cassis combined with small / slight touches of strawberry, crushed blueberry, liquorice as well as slight hints of Cuben pepper, spices and very discreet hint of chocolate. The palate is fresh, well-balanced and offers a good definition, roundness, fat, suavity, a good tannic structure as well as a slight acid frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, crushed cassis and small notes of ripe wild red berries (raspberry, cherry) associated with slight touches of chocolate, almond and sweet spices. Tannins are a bit firm. Good length. Very fine chews on the finish.
