The nose is fruity, ripe and offers gourmandise, freshness as well as concentration. It reveals notes of crème de cassis and fresh crushed blueberries combined with slight notes of blackberry, raspberry as well as slight touches of liquorice, a subtle hint of chocolate, wood and a very discreet hint of vanilla. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a slight gourmandise, a slight suavity, a slight concentration, a slight tension as well as a slightly grainy grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy fleshy blackberry, crushed blueberry and slight notes of cassis, crushed strawberry associated with a subtle touch of violet, liquorice and dark chocolate powder. Tannins are fine and slightly grainy. Good length and persistence (with touches of dark chocolate).
