The mouth is fruity, well-balanced, elegant, suave and offers a beautiful definition, a slight acid frame, precision, a beautiful delicacy / expression, suavity, a bit aerial as well as a slight gourmandise. On the palate this wine expresses notes of dried strawberry, crushed cassis and small notes of blackberry combined with slight touches of spices, violets, tonka beans as well as discreet hints of dry local forest soil and an imperceptible hint of undergrowth. Tannins are structuring and elegant. Good length. Slight chews on the finish. There is an imperceptible hint of coffee on the finish. There is a very discreet hint of almond on the persistence. Good persistence.
