The wine demonstrates a bright yellow-golden colour, crystalline and vivid. The nose is tight, slightly closed, with aeration opening up with notes of cinnamon, cloves, fresh wood, yellow apple, pear, hint of lemon and white pepper. The palate is oaky, ripe, ripening a sweet and candied fruit character, notes of white pepper, pear drops, dried herbs, all spice and hay. The wine has a nice tension and energy. The finish is peppery and salty with a good length.
