The nose is aromatic and relatively incisive. It reveals notes of boysenberry, cassis and a touch of blackcurrant bud associated with slight floral notes, a hint of red fruits as well as discreet notes of chocolate. The palate is fruity, gourmand, elegant, suave, a bit aerial and offers a beautiful definition / expression, freshness as well as a silky and slightly creamy matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe juicy blackcurrant jam and slight notes of juicy Quetsche plums associated with discreet points of ripe red fruits as well as touches of sweet spices (coconut, mocha, Ceylon tea) and a woody hint. Good length. Tannins are well made. Good length and persistence with notes of toast, blackberry / juicy plum, woody notes / coffee as well as a touch of dried fruit / caramel.
