The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, a mineral frame as well as a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/juicy cassis, fresh/juicy raspberry and small notes of fresh violet combined with hints of red berries as well as hints of rose petal/varietal notes, tonka bean and a subtle hint of pepper in the background. Tannins are racy. Powerful, finely toasted and varietal notes on the finish.
