Dame de Cœur de Château Peyfaures 2022 – Bordeaux Supérieur

The nose is ripe with a certain concentration and expresses notes of licorice. There are notes of creamy blackcurrant, violet and more slightly roasted strawberries associated with hints of crushed boysenberries as well as fine hints of liquorice stick, toast and has a hint of coffee in the background. The palate is ripe, creamy with freshness and a tangy frame. There is accuracy with notes of creamy blackcurrant, creamy blackberries and more slightly small cooked red fruits associated with a touch of cooked blueberry as well as hints of chocolate, sweet tobacco and a hint of liquorice. The tannins are relatively firm. There is good length and freshness.
