Daffara & Grasso Bianco 90 mesi Pas dosé 2014 – Alta Langa Riserva

The nose is delicious, fruity, even young. It expresses notes of fresh pineapple, white peach, apricot, lemonade, lemon curd, candied lemon, lime jam, as well as a herbaceous touch of mint, a fine floral bouquet (iris, acacia, apple blossom, orange blossom), a touch of green apple and flower honey in the background. The palate is fresh and tangy, on youth. It expresses notes of lemon, lime, lemon zest, orange zest and pomelo, which are then complemented by notes of anise and liquorice in the background. The palate shows little evolution, but a beautiful fruity, spicy and minty expression. The finish is dry, chalky, chiselled. There are notes of flowers and fresh citrus peel. The finish is long, very salivating and tangy. A lively, young wine, with lots of energy.
