Cusumano – Shamaris Tenuta Monte Petroso 2020 – Sicilia IGT

The nose is fresh, precise and offers elegance, a certain small straightness. It reveals notes of yellow apple, tangerine and small notes of juicy lychee associated with touches of small fresh/juicy yellow fruits, a hint of quenette and a very discreet hint of saffron. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, a good definition, a certain gourmandize, fat/roundness, a small richness and an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy apricot, quenette and small notes of pulpy green apple associated with touches of grapefruit, mandarin as well as slight hints of zest, a subtle saline hint, yellow flowers, toasted hazelnut, sage and saffron. Good length.
