The nose is fruity, elegant and offers a very fine intensity, roundness, a beautiful deepness as well as concentration. It reveals notes of black cherry, crushed black berrie, black olive and small notes of juniper berries, a very discreet hint of copse/violet flowers associated with touches of crushed raspberry and crushed ripe redcurrant as well as fine hints of toasted oak, vanilla, chocolate, a fine hint of garrigue and a very discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy, well-defined and offers suavity, straightness, minerality, a small tension, concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, wild blackberry and small notes of juniper berries associated with small touches of crushed redcurrant, crushed/ripe red cherry as well as hints of vanilla, toasted, discreet hints of caramelization and an imperceptible hint of toasted almond. Tannins are well-built, slightly firm and fine. There are a hint of liquorice and a very discreet hint of mild tobacco on the persistence.
