Cuomo Marisa, Furore Rosso Riserva – 2019 – Costa d’Amalfi Furore Rosso Riserva Dop

The nose offers intensity, some power, and quite marked by wood. It expresses notes of creamy wild blackcurrant, wild blackberry and more lightly – sweet spices combined with touches of toast as well as fine hints of morello cherry, balsamic and vanilla. The palate is mineral, racy and offers tension, precision, a tangy structure, some unctuousity, a melodiousness and good definition. It expresses the notes of bright blueberry, creamy cassis and, more slightly, roasted red berries associated with delicate touches of sense of place as well as fine hints of balsamic and vanilla. The tannins are elegant, fresh and sapid/savoury. Nice persistence with a fine chewiness and harmony.
