Cultusboni RS 2021 – Chianti Classico

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is juicy and fruity: it expresses notes of red cherry, wild strawberry, crushed raspberry, cranberry syrup, a touch of blackberry, as well as fresh mint, cut rosemary and a touch of coffee and toast in the background. The palate expresses a power of fine, but rather firm tannins, enveloped by the juiciness of the fruits. We find the flavors of tart red cherry, fresh cranberries, crushed raspberry, crunchy strawberry and red plum, combined with notes of fresh aromatic herbs (thyme, bay leaf), wild flowers, and a touch of dried mint, nutmeg and balsamic in the background. The tannins are structured and tight, a bit drying in the finish. The acidity is lively and gives the wine great energy.
