On the nose it is fruity, aromatic and offers some concentration as well as a little power. It reveals notes of cherry, crushed currants and more lightly Boysenberry associated with touches of bright plum as well as fine hints of cherry jam, discreet hints of local grove and a subtle hint of oleander. On the palate it is fruity, balanced and offers a tangy structure, minerality, a nice freshness as well as a nice delicacy. The wine expresses notes of pulpy / bright cherry, luscious raspberry and more slightly violet associated with touches of bright plum, hints of Boysenberry, lily, lilac as well as discreet hints of licorice, oleander, tea and an imperceptible hint of pepper. Presence of a subtle hint of toast on the finish / persistence.
