The nose is fresh, fruity and offers elegance as well as dynamism. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, small wild black berries, small notes of cocoa associated with touches of black plum, toasted, discreet hints of camphor, cardamom, black olive, Sichuan pepper and very discreet hints of local copse/oleander. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers a juicy/mineral frame, intensity as well as a small intensity as well as a small sapidity and a fine concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright black berries, crushed cassis, small notes of violet associated with touches of black plum, lily, camphor as well as a subtle hint of cherry blossom, mocha, cardamom, discreet hints of caramelization, a subtle hint of pepper and an imperceptible almost saline/iodine hint. Good length. Tannins are well-built, precise and very finely chewy. An imperceptible hint of coffee on the finish/persistence.
