Croix de Beauséjour 2023 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity, juicy and offers a gourmand side. It reveals notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry and small notes of pulpy cassis associated with touches of cornflower, hints of pulpy raspberry as well as fine hints of toast and a subtle hint of almost vanilla. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers an acidulous frame, minerality, suppleness, freshness, a certain gourmandise as well as an easy-drinking side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, juicy purple plum and small notes of crushed raspberry associated with touches of cornflower, sweet blond tobacco and a hint of toasted almond. The tannins are sapid and finely mellow.
