Louise Vineyard was named after founder Paul Gerrie’s maternal grandmother. Its particularity lies on its diverse soil, diverse clones, and diverse rootstocks. The wine was made with 49% whole clusters and was aged 17 months in 55% new French oak. The nose is concentrated, brilliant and vivid. Strawberries, cranberries, blood orange, rhubarb, and cherries are joined by a slight spiciness and accents of tobacco and damp soil. The palate is supported by freshness and framed textured, the tannins are fine, supple and the overall taste is explosive and lifted.
