(Bottled: 2024) Beautiful, spicy and aromatic nose that offers an intense power as well as a fine, powerful and quite intense grain. We find notes of dried fig, date and pâtisseries associated with touches of dried zest, dried blackcurrant, hints of crème brûlée, dried hazelnut as well as hints of grilled rosemary, gray pepper and blond tobacco. The palate is beautifully built, fresh, well-balanced, round, supple and offers gourmandise as well as a certain unctuosity in balance. Nicely fresh in its fat. On the palate, this Porto wine expresses notes of date, dried apricot and small notes of candied strawberry associated with a touch of fig, orange peel, camphor as well as a toasted hint, chocolate and tobacco box. Good length and good persistence. Beautiful small chew and gourmandise on the finish (on walnut, hazelnut and pâtisseries/brioche). Good length.
